Prayer for Employment

God is interested in you and loves you. His desire is for the very best for you. It is God’s will that you not only prosper but that you be in health. Recognize that God is not limited in any way to meet your need. He is your source and He desires to bless you because you’re His child.

Recognize the importance of putting the Word first place in your life. Do what the Word says as Joshua 1:8 and meditate and speak the Word daily so you can do what it tells you to do. You are promised good success as you put the Word to work in your life.

We join with you in faith as you pray this prayer. Be confident in God’s faithfulness because He is your Source and your Provider.

Father, in Jesus name, I look to You and trust You to direct me in seeking the job that is best for me. Thank you for opening wide a door that no man can shut and for giving me favor. It is my desire, Lord, to be debt-free, and I am willing to work with my own hands so that I lack nothing. I praise You that I am self-sufficient and have an abundance to meet all of my needs with enough left over to give generously to others. I will not fret or have anxiety about anything. You are my source. Your peace guards my heart and mind. Thank you, Father, for supplying my need of employment according to your riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Thank you for my job!
