Taking the Limits Off Grace

expanse of the universe picture-wideDoes God ever limit His goodness, His love, and His blessings? I don’t believe so. God is a God of blessing. He wants to bless His people. God is disposed to show favor to those who love Him—to His children. In Genesis 12:2 God told Abram that he would bless him, and that His blessing would be available to Abraham’s descendants—hey, that’s you and I if we’re born again.

Through Jesus, God’s Covenant of Blessing was restored and made available to whosoever would believe and receive Jesus into their life. God never changed. His Grace, His Blessings are still available to you and me today.

How do we take the limits off Grace? Maybe we should first ask ‘how do we put limits on Grace? If we don’t understand that God’s Grace is free and available to us because He treats us like we’d never sinned, then we will be like the child on his soapbox going down the hill all the while pulling on the brake, trying to stop the forward action. God’s grace is not something you can earn. It’s not something you do. It’s totally because of what Jesus did for you

You can only take the limits off grace when you see yourself as God sees you—a child of the King; one who is highly loved, God’s favorite: that’s YOU. You have God’s Word and promises that He will bless you; that His provisions will not be skimpy or meager, but abundant, flourishing, downright outrageous.  (Ephesians 3:20)

Take the limits off God’s grace for you and walk in His blessings today. Yes, you can prosper in all that you do. Yes, you can rise up and keep going. Yes, you will succeed with an abundant increase of His favor in your life.
