“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.” Ephesians 1:6

The first six verses are all one sentence as translated by most translations. I think the first five verses lead up to this phrase. All that came before such as blessing us with all spiritual blessings, choosing us before the foundation of the world, and having predestined us unto the adoption of children all shout “Praise to the glory of His grace.”

It’s all grace. Everything Jesus did for us He did because He so loved us. We didn’t earn sonship. We didn’t earn any blessings. We received them by grace.

He has completed the work of making us accepted. We are favored—highly favored. Through His grace, we have become a beloved. God the Father called Jesus His “beloved son in whom He is well-pleased. Now through the finished work of Jesus we are in the beloved.

All this is cause to praise Him—to give Him all the glory. This is the glory of grace. This is the manifestation of all He was, is, and will be. This is His glorious grace. We begin to peel back the layers of this amazing grace. Through grace, we receive all blessing. Through grace we have become His choice for salvation. He favored us with the Gospel. Through our acceptance of His work of grace, we become children of God.

Let’s praise Him for the glory of grace manifested in our lives. He made us new creations and gave us eternal life.
