Vacationer or Dweller?

Do you live strictly by what you ‘see’ or do you live by faith—what is not seen at the moment according to Hebrews 11:1 but is real nonetheless?

God’s Word says that the just, righteous believers who have been made in right standing before God, will live by faith.  You probably know that. You’ve probably heard it mentioned before. Maybe you even quote it. But are you living it? Romans 1:17 says “the just shall live by faith”.

What does it mean to live by faith? Faith is trusting God. So when scripture says the just shall live by faith, it’s telling you and I that we are to live in confident trust of God and His Word. You might put it another way: by trusting in God’s way you shall live. It’s not just faith in having faith, but faith in the eternal power of God’s Word that is available to work in each of our lives.

You can’t have faith that grows unless you eat faith-food which is God’s Word. It’s like Andrew Wommack says, you can’t just visit faith every once in a while or vacation there once a year. You have to stake your claim and take up residency in faith, in God’s Word.

Are you at that point? If not, do you want to be? Are you ready to make a change and live in faith? Don’t settle for being a vacationer in faith, but a dweller in faith. There’s no better time than today to step into an exciting life with God!
