God’s Waterfall of Grace

Smoky Mountains Waterfall

Smoky Mountains Waterfall

We’ve always enjoyed hiking in the mountains and finding beautiful waterfalls. Some have been small; some have been over a tall expanse of rocks and cliffs. No matter the size, it’s always fascinating to watch the water rushing and tumbling over the rocks, then dramatically splashing into the reservoir of water below.

I read something the other day in connection with waterfalls that provides a deeper spiritual glimpse into the meaning of God’s grace. God’s grace is abundant, never-ceasing, never-failing, and always available, isn’t it? It’s just like the waterfall that consistently pushes forward, over the edge and adds to the waters below.

What does Ephesians 3:19-21 tell us?  “…to know the love of God which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God…unto Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us…unto HIM be glory…”

God’s abundant grace is FULL of God’s love and all that He IS. Is God ever going to run out of Love? Is He ever going to run out of mercy and loving-kindness?  Will he ever run out of Grace?  No. No. No.

When you’re at a point of need, remember waterfalls and how God’s supply never ceases at all. As Joseph Prince says, “see yourself under the waterfall of HIS supply” because it’s abundant, exceeding, never-ceasing, and always available.

Don’t let your need dictate the size of the waterfall of God’s Grace. His supply of Grace, provision, health—everything you need—never stops. Start enjoying God’s waterfalls!
