The Light Of God’s Truth

“O send out Your light and Your truth: let them lead me; let them
bring me unto Your holy, hill and to Your tabernacles.”
Psalm 43:3

So many people lack truth today; and many are not even sure of what truth is. They look for truth in the world, in science and come up short because it only goes so far. They look for truth in philosophy only to be more confused. They search for truth in man’s religions and come away perplexed, empty, and further confused.

The Psalmist asked the Lord to send out His light and His truth. He wanted only to be led by God’s truth and light. Jesus came showing God’s truth. He was God‘s light to the world. It is only the truth of God’s Word that will liberate people. David declared in Psalm 25:5 that he wanted to be led in God’s truth.

Even John declares that God’s grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). Paul amplifies this in Ephesians 1 when he says those who heard the Word of truth, the Gospel of salvation, were saved.

The light of God’s truth is shining forth today. It is shining forth through you. Let your light shine before men so they can SEE the God of Truth, of Love, of Grace, and be drawn to Him, the true Light of the world.
