“You will show me the path of life: in Thy presence is fullness of joy;
at Thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.”
Psalm 16:11
The other day we looked at 2 John 1:12 and saw a connection in fellowshipping with the Lord and receiving His fullness of His joy. David also wrote about this truth years before Jesus came; and although he didn’t get to experience exactly what we experience today, he still knew the fellowship and joy he shared with His Lord.
He made a simple yet profound statement pregnant with meaning: in God’s presence is the fullness of joy. You can’t enjoy or experience God’s presence if you don’t spend time with Him. It’s when you begin to cultivate times of fellowship with God that you receive His undivided attention. And His undivided attention is to give you His fullness. What is His fullness?
God’s fullness of joy is a reflection of who He is and what He has provided. It’s His grace to the extreme. It’s His grace that fills you up and keeps you full. It’s His grace that provides for all of your needs. And what do the scriptures tell us about His grace? It’s full and overflowing.
That’s the fullness of joy you find in God’s presence. His never-ending grace and love continually flowing to you.
Don’t miss out on ALL that God has for you. Spend time in His presence and you’ll experience His unending love and grace.
