The Little Things

“⁶Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten
before God? ⁷But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Fear not [don’t worry] therefore: you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Luke 12:6-7

Too often we “think” that God doesn’t care about the little things in our lives. We “think” He’s not concerned with the minor details in our lives. Why is that?

Perhaps it’s because we don’t recognize just how much God loves you. Yes, God loves you—even more than the sparrows. That’s what His Word says.

When you receive an understanding and revelation of just how DEEP God’s love is for you, you’ll understand that He’s even numbered all the hairs on YOUR head; that He’s concerned when you’re inundated with more problems and difficulties than you need.

This revelation of God’s infinite love and blessing comes as you learn and receive more understanding of what Jesus has accomplished for you. God’s love will draw you into a close relationship with Him. If you want to know what God is like then look at Jesus. He exemplified God to man. Was Jesus concerned about the sick and hurting people He met? Yes! Did He go about doing good and healing all that were sick? Yes!

That’s how God is; and that’s how He wants to be in your life. He wants to bring you into His blessings, His grace, His provision—ALL that He has. He’s concerned about the little things in your life. He’s concerned about the bigger things in your life. He’s concerned about the major things in your life.

Don’t think of your God as a stingy, mean ‘ole god who doesn’t want to give you anything. That may be the way He’s been portrayed to you, but He isn’t like that at all. He’s a God of blessings. He’s a God of provision. He’s a God who is interested in the little things in your life. What concerns you, concerns Him.

Don’t let whatever minor or major problem you’re facing keep you from going to your Daddy-God, Abba Father. He’s well able to take care of ALL that concerns you.
