Galatians 6
August 22, 20142 Corinthians 5:18 – Reconciled By Jesus
August 23, 20141 Peter 3:10
10 For he that will love life and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil and his lips that they speak no guile.
Agreeing with God in faith is the fastest way to see His promises manifested in your life. There is a key here, and basically a small component that must work right before you will see the manifestation of God’s promises. All the components must be present and work together. What are the components? I’m glad you asked.
You can’t see God’s promises manifested in your life if you first don’t believe His promises or that you can have them now. Believing God, believing His Word is first. You can read the Bible and acknowledge what God says and even Jesus’ promises, but if the acknowledgement only stays in your head, you’re still far from believing. Intellectual believing is not the same as heart/faith believing. Believing requires that you trust God, you trust His Word. When you trust someone, you believe in them which means you agreeing with what they say. That’s the way it is when you trust God and believe what Jesus provided for you.
Then from that position of faith (trust/believing the Word), you change how you talk. Here’s where most of us have problems. We say we know the Word and are believing the Word but then we let our mouths run all over the place not speaking what the Word just told us.
Your words frame your world. If you’re believing for the money to pay off your debts, but continually are saying I don’t see how we’re going to pay off our debts…but I’m believing God, you’ve basically said you don’t believe what God’s word says. You’ve wiped out what little you did believe with the negative words of doubt and lack.
Hey, we’re all guilty of this but it’s time we learn to line up our mouth with God’s Word. When you get into agreement with what God has already declared, with what Jesus has already accomplished for you, you’ll have the power of God uniting to meet your need.
Start working on that today. Line up the words of your mouth with God’s Word. Get into agreement with Him and stay there!
