Romans 1:20 – Seeing the Invisible ThingsNovember 23, 2014
3Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
I’m sure you’ve seen young couples strolling through a park holding hands as well as elderly couples walking together hand in hand. What does the young couple and the elderly couple have in common? Both are going in the same direction together. Two people walking hand in hand can’t very well go in different directions can they?
Jesus said apart from Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). How can we touch the world with His love if we aren’t hooked into Him? We can’t walk in power together with Him until we are in agreement with His finished work. The more we learn about all that Jesus has accomplished for us, the quicker we’ll be able to walk together with Him.
It’s time to find out what His grace and love purchased for you. We’ve said it before and will continue to share it: His life and sacrifice includes more than our eternal salvation as wonderful as that is. Jesus said He came to give us an abundant life but if we stop short and don’t find out all that it includes beyond our salvation, then we can’t know the greater blessings He has for us. We need to allow His Word to transform (change) our thinking about how good God is, how powerful the blood of Jesus is, and the authority we have in His name. The more we’re in agreement with who Jesus is, the more we’ll walk together in agreement with Him.
God told His people in Jeremiah 33:3 to call unto Him, seek Him and He would show them things they didn’t know that would transform their lives. God has revealed those things through Jesus.
It’s time to know the power of God in your life. It’s time to know the fullness of God’s love. Learn more about this wonderful gift of grace. God’s not mad at you. He loves you. You’re approved and it’s time to start living approved, not trying to earn your approval by your own efforts. It’s all been done through Jesus. Agree with God’s provision, and then keep walking in agreement of His provision and power, together with Him.
