How’s Your Focus?
January 23, 2015Free To Be You
January 25, 2015“Love bears up under anything and everything that comes” (1 Corinthians 13:7 AMP). That makes “Beareth all things” (KJV) very clear. Love is the capstone of God’s creation. Every blessing is a result of God’s love for us. When you look at the “love chapter”—1 Corinthians 13—is first about God’s love directed to us. His love bears up under everything we can send His way.
Our worst is no match for His best. His love has no bounds or limits. He is never mad at us or punishes us for our mistakes. Jesus took all punishment upon Himself on the cross. Therefore there is no wrath left for us. His love is so big it’s totally unmeasurable or unfathomable. Nothing—absolutely nothing—can separate us from His love for us (Romans 8:39)
God knows our frailties. He knows we will fail. He knows we will make mistakes. In spite of that, He loves us. We are imperfect. He is perfect. The perfect dwells in us manifesting His love through us to the world. We are free to love. We are free to allow His love to reach out to a world God loves.
