Freedom to Choose

Many times in our Christian walk we may feel pressured that we have to make the right decisions/choices. Yes, it is good to make wise choices and decisions, but as believers we have the freedom to make choices.

As a child of God you’re a new person—you’ve been made over, renewed. You don’t have a sinful nature any longer but a new nature of God’s indwelling Spirit. And, as 2 Corinthians 3:17 says “…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there IS liberty.”

Many believers don’t experience this freedom/liberty because they have not renewed their minds in what God has provided for them. Their body didn’t become new when they accepted Jesus—that comes when we’re transferred to Heaven for eternity. Their thinking—their mind—must be renewed in what Jesus provided through the Cross. If you don’t know what’s yours, you won’t walk in the benefits.

Dig into the Word and find out what your benefits are in Jesus. Find out the power of God’s grace that is abounding in you. You have the freedom to accept and walk in ALL that God has for you. It’s your choice.
