Are you living in “The glorious liberty of the children of God” (Romans 8:21)? Do you wake up reveling in the glorious liberty you have in Christ? Paul calls it “glorious” liberty. From the Greek word we get “doxology” which the dictionary calls “a liturgical formula of praise to God.”
Remember singing “Praise God from whom all blessings flow?” Liberty is one of those blessings. This liberty is for the children of God and for only the born again child of God. This is a special privilege afforded the children. It’s all because “God so loved” (John 3:16)
Glorious liberty is freedom from oppression, depression, possession, and repression. It is rising in the morning and shouting “I’m free.” Jesus has taken all your burdens and cares. You can actually live care free. That is glorious liberty.
The problems you face each day don’t have to rob you of your liberty. You have the choice to live in liberty. Things might not always go your way, but how you respond will make a total difference in your wellbeing. Live in the glorious liberty as your free gift of God’s amazing grace.
