Disbelief or Freedom?

How many soldiers who spent time in combat during and after any war found it hard to believe that freedom had come? Regardless of the side they fought on, there were some who were in disbelief even when told the war was over and they were free.

Are we any different today? Most of us don’t have to go into the jungles and foreign countries to fight yet we can still not believe the message of freedom—true lasting freedom that reaches you wherever you are right now, today.

Your beliefs change as you renew your mind/thinking in the truth of God’s grace (Romans 12:1). It’s a transformation process as you believe what Jesus has given you. You can say in disbelief, tied to the rudiments of your old thinking and not experience all that God has for you like some soldiers did for many years. OR, you can begin to discover the abundant blessings and provisions that are yours when you receive them by renewing your thinking and believing the truth of God’s Word and finished work of Jesus.

Right believing sets you free and keeps you free.
