God Is On Your Side

God is for you and not against you. God is you Father and wants your best. ^“My enemies will retreat when I call to you for help. This I know: God is on my side!” (Psalm 56:9 NLT).

Does it seem sometimes that God doesn’t want to answer your prayer? Does it seem God it is out in the universe somewhere working and doesn’t seem to care about little ol’ you? God might be doing things out in the universe somewhere but He also has an open ear to you.

God is on your side. Ken Copeland tells the story that once he made a bad remark to someone in a pool hall when he was young. The man didn’t like what he said and came toward him, but stopped. Ken didn’t know his dad was standing behind him. God is standing behind you.

When trouble comes your way, just call for help. God doesn’t fail. Know that He is on your side—always and no matter what you have done. “This I know; for God is for me” (Psalm 56:9).
