See Yourself As the Blessed

Long before God gave the Ten Commandments to Israel, He blessed those who operated in faith and grace. “And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel to Abraham, saying, in you shall all nations be blessed” (Galatians 3:8).

This didn’t happen until Jesus came on the scene. This promise went beyond the people of Israel to all nations. It included all those who would believe in the finished work of Jesus on the cross.

As believers we live the blessed life. We get the good stuff. We are products of the Good News. We can’t escape the blessings. They flow around us and through us. The blessings are a gift of God’s grace. Everything God has for us is because of His love for us. His blessings are for us—now—in this life. See yourself as the “Blessed.”
