Full of Joy
March 20, 2015The Multitude of Grace
March 22, 2015Aren’t you glad you know where “to flee for protection?” Jesus is our refuge. “How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!” (Psalm 2:12 NASB). King James uses the word “trust” for refuge and another word is hope.
This is another one of our blessings provided by grace through faith in Jesus. Salvation is an all-encompassing word which includes our rescue and protection. Your blessings of protection are found in trust. Trust also has the idea of faith and belief.
Every time you see blessed or blessing in the Word, count it as yours. The blessed one—that’s you—has a place of rest and safety in Christ.
In whatever situation you find yourself, always know that Jesus is with you. In fact, He is in you. You can’t get far away from Him. When faced with either physical or emotional danger, just trust in Him to take you through safely.
Just trust. How many times does it boil down to that? You may not know what to do, or what the outcome might be. Just simply trust in Him. That’s the blessing surrounding you.
