Magnifying His Love
March 8, 2015God’s Goodness is Liberating
March 10, 2015We have the gift of peace. Since God has made us righteous by grace through faith, we also have peace.
“THEREFORE, SINCE we are justified (acquitted, declared righteous, and given a right standing with God) through faith, let us [grasp the fact that we] have [the peace of reconciliation to hold and to enjoy] peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).” Romans 5:1 (AMP)
The battlefield is in the mind. One definition of peace is the absence of war. We don’t have to have that war going on in our heads. We can abide in being at peace when the Prince of Peace reigns in us. The more we try to fight that mental battle, the less peace will rule. We can toss out the cares and live in peace.
Peace is not something we have to work for because it is already in us as a gift. We just have to acknowledge it and receive it. We you feel a battle beginning to wag in your mind, just say, “No, I have the gift of peace and I claim it now to rule in this situation.”
