Are you proclaiming glad tidings of good things? The gospel of peace is the good news. The gospel is about how much God loves us and how much He wants us to have peace in every area of our lives.
“How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10:15)
The word beautiful can also mean “belonging to the right hour or season.” We are in the season of grace and peace. This is the hour of good news of the finished work of Jesus. The world is in turmoil around us, but we can live in peace.
When we meet people, we can talk to them about peace. We can talk to them about good news. We can give them glad, not sad tidings. God so loved the world. Our message of good news is that God loves the world. We love because God first loved us. God has good things for His children. We have peace within, no matter what the outward circumstances are.
