The Blessing of His Protection
March 21, 2015Freedom From The Old Master
March 23, 2015Have you experienced something like this: When everything and everyone is against you…when the doors seem to be slammed shut in front of you…when nothing seems to be going right? What do you do? Where do you go?
You’re not any different from King David, and he had more on his plate than most of us face each day. Yet, he knew God’s abundant mercy [grace] in the midst of his troubles. He would gather his thoughts and center his heart on God’s abundant mercy for him.
Too often we let the obstacles and difficulties direct our thoughts and hearts. When we do, we don’t receive peace but instead fear, worry, and turmoil. But when we’re able to tap into and reside in God’s hesed, His grace, His presence becomes great, heavy in us, abundant.
David was in the midst of people wanting to do him harm, ruthless people who took lives needlessly. And even though they surrounded him, he took refuge in the presence of God and worshipped Him. His victory is found in Psalm 5:7: “But as for me I will come into Thy house in the multitude of Thy mercy [hesed]: and…worship.”
It’s your time to experience and enjoy the multitude of God’s hesed mercy and grace. Let His mercy and grace resound in your life.
