Years of Grace Multiplied

I love this verse because it tells us so much of what God has provided for us through Jesus. From HIS fullness. Full is full. His fullness can’t be any fuller because it is ALL that He is. God poured everything He is into His Son, and Jesus has given us that fullness when we receive His life, God’s gift to us. John 1:16 says, “For from His fullness we have all received, grace upon grace”. (ESV)

God’s grace is His fullness. It’s even more than just amazing grace. We recognize it in songs, in sermons inviting people to partake of the free gift of salvation, but there’s so much more available. The longer you walk with the Lord and continue growing in the Word and the Gospel of His grace, the more you receive grace upon grace. And it continues to abound, to expand, revolutionizing your life and outreach.

That’s how it’s been for Jack and me these past 41 years. Today is our Anniversary, and we celebrate these wonderful years of walking together in deeper fellowship and fullness of Jesus, receiving grace upon grace in each of our lives and together as we minister and share the Word.

Happy Anniversary Jack Elder. You’re the love of my life, and I look forward to many more grace-filled years with you!
