Be A Well of Life

Mt Paka Well Water pic

Anyone can speak what he sees, but it takes faith to speak what you want to see—to see the invisible and call it forth (Joseph Prince). Too often we speak only what we see and by speaking it, we call that into our lives. Proverbs 10:11 instructs us in liberating our speaking which allows us participation in greater freedom of God’s overwhelming grace. “The mouth of the righteous is a well of life:”

Picture a well with fresh water supplying nourishment for many lives, including animals and humans. Our missionary friend, Teresa June Webb (Desert Rose Ministries) shared the joy of the Mt. Paka tribe of people in remote Kenya when they received a miraculous well and drank fresh water for the first time. They no longer drink/use contaminated water, and they thank God for His provision.

Your mouth is a well of life. The more you fill your heart and mouth with the life-giving words of God, the more you’ll have to share with others, giving them greater joy and peace. Don’t speak your circumstances or your feelings. Speak the life-giving Word of God and you’ll experience greater freedom and joy.
