Salvation is YeshuaApril 6, 2015
You Are God’s PeopleApril 8, 2015
Some believers are just hoping for little drops of God’s mercy (“oh, for the mercy drops we pray”). Others are waiting. Are you praying and hoping for a little of God’s kindness and mercy, or are you walking in His favor and grace right now?
In Psalm 119, David expresses his hearts’ desire in verses 33-48 specifically; and in verse 41 he opens his heart for more of God’s mercies. “Let thy mercies come also unto me, O Lord, even thy salvation, according to Thy Word.” It wasn’t wishful thinking or ‘just a hoping’ for some. He based his believing in the truth of God’s Word.
He didn’t leave empty-handed, and we know he received all that God had for him. David knew his salvation was from God, and looked ahead to how God would fulfill that for man. In the meantime, David continued looking to a merciful God who continued filling his life with His goodness, His Love, His joy, His provision.
Fresh mercy is falling today through Jesus Christ. God’s mercy, His hesed grace, is available 24/7. Don’t miss it because there’s more than one drop per person—there’s a powerful shower of His mercy and grace available for you right now!
