Growing the Word in You

Perhaps you’ve had times when you’ve doubted how much God’s Word is working in your life. You may have even questioned how much of the Word do you really know and understand. Before you go self-examining your lack of consistency, concentrate more on the power of God that IS working in your heart. Don’t be self-focused, centering on your short comings, failures, and faults. Center your thoughts and focus on God’s Word and what He has done and IS doing in your life. The more you focus on Jesus, the more you’ll see the reality of His love and goodness operating in you. That’s what the early Church did as Acts 19:20 says “So mightily grew the Word…”

Focus your attention and your meditations on God’s Word that is forever faithful and true. Study Paul’s writings and receive great encouragement in the Word of God’s grace through Jesus. Don’t center your thoughts on all the negative things around you. There isn’t any peace in doing that.

Change your perspective. Change your focus. Rely on God’s love letter to you for overcoming victory, faith-building encouragement, and overflowing grace, healing, and blessings that are yours in Christ. The Word in you will grow mightily.
