Not Moved

Not moved

The more you dig into the Word, the more exciting truth you find, and the greater manifestations of God’s love and grace you see. Psalm 21:7 says “For the king trusts in the Lord and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.”

Like you, David put his trust in the Lord. He knew there was no one else who could save, defend, preserve, love, and bless him. He knew that God is a blessing God. He knew it was through God’s mercy that he received God’s blessings and protection. It was God’s hesed, which is often translated love, lovingkindness, mercy, grace. God’s grace kept David stable and secure.

I hope you are walking in God’s grace today because the more you ground yourself in the finished work of Jesus, the more you will not be moved in your faith and relationship with the Lord. The word ‘moved’ is môṭ (mote). Doesn’t that give you an instant picture? Are you experiencing God’s mercy, as a mote around you? You won’t slip, fall down or be removed. Rejoice in God’s grace through Jesus that is yours.
