Wind turbines are fascinating and as you pass by them along the freeways in California, Arizona, Texas and other states, you also realize how huge they are. They’re a powerhouse of power.
The same could be said for you as a believer and follower of Jesus. When Jesus completed His work at the Cross, He didn’t leave His followers without hope. He said He’d never leave them or you or forsake us—we can count on Him. He gave His disciples power to do everything He did. That’s backed up in Acts 4:33: “And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.” It’s the same for you today.
Great (loud) grace (acceptance, favor, blessing) was upon them all. Upon is an interesting primary preposition because it talks about the relation of distribution being on, in, or upon. Great grace was on them all. Great grace was in them all. Great grace was upon them all. It is available to you through the finished work of Jesus.
Let’s touch our world with His love, allowing Him to work through us, in us, empowering us by His Grace.
