Jesus told the disciples that they didn’t get to know the timing of future events. That was the Father’s Business. But He said, “What you’ll get is the Holy Spirit. And when the Holy Spirit comes on you, you will be able to be my witnesses in Jerusalem, all over Judea and Samaria, even to the ends of the world” (Acts 1:8 MSG).
If you have the Holy Spirit dwelling in you, you have power—dynamite power to be a witness to the gospel. That power will enable you to do what it takes to reveal the goodness of God to the ends of the earth.
You may not think you are capable of sharing the good news with anyone, but Jesus said you had the power to do so. You don’t have to be a preacher, or an evangelist to share good news. Just love people. Want the best for them. Care about them. You don’t have to pay all their bills or preach the 4 spiritual laws to them. Just tell them God loves them and isn’t mad at them. Just tell them God has His best interests for them and that’s the good news of God’s grace.
