So many times we’re subject to the ‘woe is me’ mentality keeping us bound, not allowing us to think beyond the mulleygrub trees in our lives. The problem with that thinking is we tend to stay under the mulleygrubs, not content, unhappy, unfulfilled, and frustrated. Stop doing that. It’s time to see things differently and recognize God’s favor in your life—His unmerited grace, His goodness, His blessings, His open doors before you.
Don’t keep staring at the present view. Change your focus and on purpose SEE God’s goodness in your life. In Psalm 44:3 David says it was “the light of Your countenance because You had favor unto them.” It wasn’t by Israel’s own sword, or their strength. It was by God’s hand and His favor.
God is disposed [eager and ready] to show you His mercy, grace, and favor. Ephesians 2:4-7 says when you’re made alive in Jesus through His finished work, God continues showing you the exceeding riches of His grace and kindness toward you.
It’s time to SEE God’s favor all around you. Step out from the mulleygrub view and see the blessings of God abounding in your life.
