I will sing praise to Jehovah Elyôn or the Lord most High. This is one of the Old Testament names for God. This denotes the supreme God, the God above all others.
“I will praise the LORD according to His righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high” (Psalm 7:17)
Here we see Jesus as the “Lord of Lords”. Here 1 Timothy 6:15 says, “The blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords.”
“Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come” (Ephesians 1:21).
We sing the song of praise to the name of the most High God. He is worthy of all praise. He is the one to whom we will praise throughout all eternity. “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created” (Revelation 4:11 NKJV).
I will sing praise to Jesus, the Lord of Lords. For you are worthy of all our praise.
