Peace With GodJune 6, 2015
Have you been out in the mountains on a clear night and seen all the stars? It seems they are countless—they are. And sometimes the moon is so bright it seems you could reach out and touch it. It’s amazing that man has indeed touched it.
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained” (Psalm 8:3(NKJV).
David had a clear understanding that God created the heavens and earth. It was all the work of the fingers of God. We have a better understanding because Scripture reveals in Jesus were all things created.
“All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being” (John 1:3 NASB). “In these last days [God] has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world” (Hebrews 1:2 NASB).
When we look at the moon and stars today we know they are but a tiny piece of the whole cosmos. Yet it all points to Jesus. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
