In our world today there are many ‘things’ trying to attack your thinking and demolish your peace. The world is in chaos around us, but you can be at peace no matter what is taking place. Several friends recently shared with me the need for peace to rule in their family situations and in their hearts.
We’re in an unpeaceful world; yet you and I are not without peace. (Remember the Prince of Peace lives IN you). Everything the enemy tries to do against you is his attempt to steal…your peace. The battlefield is indeed the mind. His arrow may fly day and night at you, attempting to get your thoughts off the Word of God, off God’s power and His grace in you. “Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you are also called…” (Colossians 3:15)
You have the power of the Word to deflect those arrows. It’s allowing the God of peace to be settled in your heart thus enabling your heart to rule your head…your thinking. Renew your thinking in God’s peace and be grounded and settled with peace of mind.
