A Day of Remembrance

Do you think God has a day of remembrance? What event would be associated with it? What day do you think it would be? You could definitely ponder on those questions. I think that one of God’s day of remembrance was when Jesus entered the Holy of Holies in Heaven to present His blood for the remission of sin, having justified us, made us righteous and holy through the Cross (Hebrews 8:12). No longer are we sinners, but now we’re restored in fellowship as beloved children of God when we receive Jesus’ atonement for us. That’s a wonderful day to remember, a day of God’s eternal purpose fulfilled, where His love and presence now live in His children. God doesn’t remember the ugly and the bad associated with our life. He knows our frame, and He loves us right where we are. It’s our turn to daily remember His goodness, blessing, favor, and love toward us.  

Speaking of a day of remembrance…today is Jack’s birthday, and we celebrate his life in our family today. He’s a man of the Word, a man who dearly loves his family, and who enjoys sharing God’s Word of Grace. Happy Birthday Honey! Here’s to many more days of remembrance in celebrating life with you!
