No Need To Be A Fool

I remember while working on 3^rd shift at one time and meeting someone for lunch about 4 in the morning. We got to talking about God, and he was adamant that there was no God. He said he’d just as soon believe in a sun-god than believe there was a God. Psalms 14:1 came to mind.

^“The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.”…There is none who does good” (Psalm 14:1 NKJV).

It’s interesting if you believe the scriptures come through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, that this is God saying that it’s foolish not to believe in me. It’s foolish because Jesus came that you might come to know God in a personal way.

^“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). In God’s economy, all you have to do is believe in Him. You have to believe He exists and you have to believe in the finished work of Jesus. Even though we see it daily, no one needs be a fool. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
