Tall Buildings around the Alamo
In the Old Covenant, God dwelt in the Holy of Holies in the tabernacle. During David’s time, the Ark of the Covenant was on Mt. Zion. David could see it. He kept that before Him all the time.
“I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved” (Psalm 16:8 NKJV).
In the New Covenant, we have the Spirit within us and we have Jesus within. ‘And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 2:6). We are in a place of rest, sitting together with Jesus, in the heavenly realms in the spirit.
That is our place of protection and refuge. We shall not be moved by what we see on the media or what we hear on TV. We are not subject to the temporal things we see but the things unseen. Keep your focus on Jesus and know He is by your side, He is in you. That is your present hope in times of trouble.
