Static Free

Electronic gadgets in our technological world often times encounter interference. The transmission through radio, TV, cell phone/game devices are subject to static. Even prior to our age of hand-held devices you probably remember trying to sync your portable radio to a favorite station only to encounter an interruption with static on the line. Static is a nuisance. It blocks clear reception.

There’s also what I call spiritual static that can potentially affect your life. You may not recognize it immediately. Just a little interference that takes your mind off of God’s love and grace and who you really are in Jesus. Static will keep you bound, walking in fear, guilt, and condemnation. But that’s not what God has given you.

1 Peter 5:10 (ESV) says that “the God of all grace will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you”. It’s not difficult to reduce spiritual static. Good doses of God’s Word will change your thinking and renew your heart.

Keep your heart receptive continuing to walk in His grace, and you’ll be static free.
