Trust God’s Counsel

Whatever your dilemma is in life, and you will have plenty, the Word has your answers. But you say, my problem is unique and I don’t know what to do. Go to the Word. Ask God to guide you to your answer.

“Good friend, take to heart what I’m telling you; collect my counsels and guard them with your life” (Proverbs 2:1 MSG).

Have you gotten into financial problems because you failed to follow God’s counsel? What about relationships? What about life choices? Jesus says, Good friend, take heart what I’m telling you. Don’t lean on your own understanding.

Get into the Word and begin collecting God’s counsel on matters. Then decide that you will hold onto those things and adhere to them. This isn’t a matter of trying to please God. He’s already well-pleased with you. This is a matter of choosing to approach life’s problems with God’s guidance. We often cannot see past the end of our noses, but He knows all things and will lead you out of your situation. Trust Him.
