Each day you have various things to consider—what you’ll wear to work or school, what you’ll have for dinner, or perhaps what errands you need to run. Your day is filled with considerations.
Sometimes your considerations may not have any particular spiritual application. You choose your dinner menu and prepare it accordingly. But there are other considerations that you need to consider each day and throughout your week.
A simple understanding of the word ‘consider’ is helpful. It means “to study, ponder, deliberate, examine, or think upon.” (Andrew Wommack) When you understand the entire meaning I’m sure you’ll discover that throughout your day you consider more than you thought.
We’ll dig into understanding more about where our considerations need to be. Don’t camp out in negative considerations—those things that you ponder over and over and think upon. Consider—ponder, think upon—God’s Word. Consider—ponder, examine, and think upon—the finished work of Jesus for you. Consider that you are more than an overcomer (Romans 8:37) because Jesus lives BIG in you enabling you to be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). Let these truths be your consideration today.
