God’s Given His Amen

All the promises of God are YES and AMEN in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). It has nothing to do with what you do or don’t do. It has everything to do with what Jesus DID. God’s Word gives us God’s promises – of blessing, health/healing, prosperity, mercy, grace and love. God’s promises to man are waiting to be received. Jesus’ finished work brought the AMEN to God’s purposes. They’re in place but until you receive them personally as you would receive a present being handed to you but not operating in your life.

So, how do you receive His promises? You may know God’s Word is true and what He has spoken is truth, but you don’t see it operating in your life. Start with one promise for a need you have. Know that God backs up His Word, loves you without question, and wants to do you good. Continue to meditate on His promise. You believe from your heart, not your head. See God’s promised fulfilled, accomplished through Jesus for you. Let His Word go from your head into your heart and reside there.  Then with your mouth you can give your Amen to what Jesus has given you. Keep your heart receptive as you keep your focus on Jesus.
