God’s Word is practical for you and I. When we encounter times of difficulty, we have assurance of God’s love and care for us, and of His grace working in our lives in the midst of whatever we encounter.
Paul gave a list in 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 of things that can take place in our lives, but he also stresses the outcome. He went through these difficulties and came out stronger because of the surpassing greatness of God’s power working in his life (vs. 7). You can, too.
Today you might be perplexed in a situation you face. In the natural you see no way out of it, or you are unsure of what to do. Settle your thoughts and emotions on God’s Word, His promises, and His power working in you. In your own understanding don’t consider the negative consequences and despair. Despair doesn’t offer any hope. You have hope.
Encourage yourself in God’s goodness, in His love and grace for you. Trust Him to show you what you need to do. He knows the beginning from the end, so this situation you face doesn’t perplex Him. Rest in faith believing He will make your path straight and clear. He’s got this. Trust Him.
