You are qualified, bona fide, justified, and sanctified if you are a born-again believer.
“Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light” (Colossians 1:12 ESV).
You are qualified. The King James Version says “has made us meet” which is an obscure way of saying you are enabled and qualified to share in the inheritance of the saints.
You are now worthy of the inheritance. It has nothing to do with what we do, say, our lineage, or money. It’s what God the Father has done for us through Jesus. You are made worthy. You are worthy, not in anything you are or did, but through faith in Jesus who finished it all for us on the Cross.
Since you are qualified to share in the inheritance, then you need to receive your share. There is plenty to go around. Everything Jesus bought and paid for is yours. You have a great inheritance. All the saints have this inheritance. It’s not just for Heaven, it’s for now. Here is where we need it. So let’s live as a qualified saint receiving all the blessings and promises of God.
