It’s the Gospel—the good news—of Hope that we can share with everyone we meet. It’s missing in our world. In fact, churches may not be giving much hope but more rules and regulations keeping many in fear rather than encouraging them with Biblical hope and God’s goodness and love.
Psalm 130:7, NLT says “…hope in the Lord; for with the Lord there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.” That’s the gospel of hope. It’s the gospel that says yes, things can be better now, right here, not some day when we get to Heaven. Hope is needed now, today.
You and I are called to be light to the world because of Jesus. We’re givers of hope. We should also be broadcasters of hope, always being ready to give an answer for the hope that is in us. Jesus is hope.
Knowing Him fills us with endless hope that does not disappoint. The hope we’re talking about continues to believe and trust God. It is confidence expectation grounded in God’s provision, plan, faithfulness, and love. Hope is the anchor of the soul (Hebrews 6:19).
This is what people need today. Be a broadcaster of this hope.
