Are You Saved?

Are you saved? I’m sure you’ve seen many billboards along the highways that ask that question. You’ve seen many more signs that says Jesus Saves. Are you certain you are saved? How many times I heard that from the pulpit as I grew up. We were all called down to the altar to make sure. What kind of life is that? You are either saved or you aren’t. It’s simple. Believe on Jesus who saves.

Then don’t ever let anything try to persuade you any differently.

^“38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, ³⁹ nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39 NKJV).

All those categories cover everything in this life that will try to persuade you that you aren’t saved. Nothing can separate you from God—not your sins, not your mistakes, and not your behavior. Nothing external, including the latest evangelist coming through town, can persuade you because God’s love has a tight hold on you.
