No matter what happens in the world, God’s kindness and New Covenant will not go away. After the devastating earthquakes in Nepal, Mt Everest moved 3 centimeters. That’s a little over an inch. Can you imagine the tallest mountain on earth actually moved?
“For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” Says the LORD, who has mercy on you” (Isaiah 54:10 NKJV).
God has a covenant of peace with us. God’s kindness (Hebrew hesed) means grace. That means God is at peace with us. His kindness is always on us. He is never angry, mad, or upset with us. This covenant of peace comes to us through the finished work of Jesus. Jesus fulfilled all that was against us and made it all right with God. We who are in Christ have that peace upon us—forever.
Peace does not just mean peace of mind, but also wholeness for your entire being—spirit, soul and body. So whatever the world does around you, remain in His peace.
