God’s Logos In You

So many believers are trying to live a sanctified and holy life, but they’re doing it on their own by following rules that declare if you do this, you’ll be holy, sanctified, and accepted by God. Maybe you’ve been there. Jesus told us how to be sanctified in John 17:17 when he prayed, “Sanctify them through Thy truth; Thy Word is Truth.” The very logos of God (John 1:1) is what cleanses, purifies, and sanctifies us because of Jesus. He made the payment on our behalf and we reap the benefits. We’re holy because Jesus is holy. We’re sanctified because Jesus is. It is through Him. And that denotes a relation of rest which is simply believing what God has said because it is truth. Continue in God’s Word. Continue in God’s grace. Let His truth saturate your mind and heart. You are sanctified, accepted, and forever loved by your Heavenly Father.
