We Are Partakers Of the Finished Work Of Jesus

Jesus accomplished everything God sent Him to do here on earth. And most important was what He accomplished on the cross. When Jesus said, “It is finished” (John 19:30), everything we have through Jesus He finalized and completed. Jesus came to save people from their sins—done. He came to provide the way to the father—done. He ratified the promises—done. He inherited all things and made us joint heirs with Him.

There are many books on just the individual things He did such as justification, sanctification, redemption, perfection, fulfillment of the law, and holiness just to mention a few. It is all finished—complete. There is nothing more for Jesus to do. Believers have everything Jesus has finished and we have it forever. We can add nothing to it. Everything God sent Jesus to do He did. All we need do is trust in this finished work. We believe it all. We are also convinced that He did it for us. We are partakers of all the finished work of Jesus.
