having done all to stand pic 3

You know how difficult it is in the beginning for a little child to be able to stand without help. Then as they endeavor to walk, they actually ‘toddle’—thus the earned named of toddler. It takes some time to get their balance, to get the knack of how you do the standing and walking. It’s the same scenario in our spiritual lives. You start out with learning God’s Word, what He has provided for you, and how much He loves you. You continue learning and growing in the Word as your faith and trust in Him increases. Soon you’re ready to stand. But many believers, even well-seasoned ones, have a hard time when difficulties come. In Ephesians 6:13, Paul says “having done all to stand, stand. Here’s where the rubber meets the road for most of us. We’re quick to say ‘yes, amen’ to God’s promises, but when a problem arises we have difficulty standing in faith while it is resolved. How do you counter times like that? It’s a matter not only of believing God’s Word/promises, but keeping those continually before your eyes, in your mind, and letting them grow in your heart. THAT’S WHEN you ‘having done all to stand’ CAN STAND. Don’t give up or let go before you’re equipped to stand.
