Just A Thought For January 28January 28, 2017
Is the glass half full or half empty? It depends on your perspective you say. No it depends on how full you fill the glass. Your life can represent the glass, empty without the Lord. When you receive Jesus, He fills up your glass. He doesn’t fill it up halfway. He fills you up with ALL of Him. Ephesians 4:7 talks about this. “But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of Christ’s gift.” What is the measure of Christ’s gift? The fullness of God through Jesus for you. You didn’t get just a little portion of Christ —you got ALL of Him—the measure of Christ. Too often we try to minimize what God has provided for us. He gave His whole Son, who in turn gave His whole life to you and me. He didn’t give just a portion, but ALL. Why would God only give us a little measure of His Son? He wouldn’t and He didn’t. Your glass is full of the victorious life of Jesus. It may be that your prism isn’t reflecting ALL that He is in you. You have the whole measure of the fullness of Christ (Ephesians 4:13, ESV). Let His fullness reflect through the prism of your life.
