One of the greatest compliments is hearing someone tell you what changed their life was an unrelenting love in action toward them. Words are a dime a dozen and many people, believers included, can say they love you but then they don’t back it up with loving actions. Perhaps you remember the chorus sung many years ago, ‘they’ll know we are Christians by our love, by our love’. We’ve been dwelling on love being the motivating factor in all that we do because it’s essential in our own spiritual walk and necessary in showing others the wonderful prism of God’s love for them. Romans 5:5 says that God’s love has been shed abroad in our heart and Ephesians 5:2 states we’re to walk in love. Let’s let our actions, our kindness, our deeds and words come from an overflow of God’s love in our lives. That’s how we can touch others around us. Love is the all-encompassing color of God (if there is such). When you receive and release that love to someone else, it illuminates the prism of all that God is. That in turn will transform a life.
