Just A Thought For April 26

God is good all the time. All the time, God is good. You’ve heard that many times in church and probably shouted it out to the direction of a leader. The question is do you believe God is good all the time? On the other hand, are you one of those who believes God is bad for our good, such as that He gives you a sickness to teach you a lesson? I think God’s definition of good is like our definition of good. It’s a place of wellbeing. When God created the Heaven and Earth, He called it good. Good is the opposite of evil. “The LORD will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11 NKJV). God isn’t stingy with goodness. Goodness is hard to define. It’s subjective in how you have seen good in your life. Maybe you live in a good house, drive a good car, go to a good church, and know good people. However, that doesn’t define good. Biblically speaking, Jesus is the definition of good. He went about doing good. God is good, and not just once in a while, but all the time. If it’s bad, it’s not God. If it’s good, it’s God because He is good itself.
