The Hope Of The Gospel

Most believers feel that only in the New Testament, especially the Gospels, is where you’ll find “the Gospel”. However, I find God’s love, grace, and redemption throughout the Word. Here’s what Psalm 130:7, NLT states: “…hope in the Lord; for with the Lord there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.” Without hope, there is no Gospel. Without the Gospel, there is no hope. Hope is missing in our world, and even in some churches where more rules and regulations are given than real Biblical hope. Biblical hope is the Gospel of God’s goodness and love. Jesus is hope.

Psalm 130:7 is called a psalm of hope, and it is a statement of my hope in God, in His unfailing love, and His redemption. You and I are givers of hope—broadcasters of hope, always being ready to give an answer for the hope that is in us. The hope we have is confidence expectation grounded in God’s provision, plan, faithfulness, and love. It is the anchor of the soul (Hebrews 6:19). It’s time for us to be broadcasters of this Gospel of hope. You’re the prism of His Hope shining brightly to others.
